Cabin Fever out of the heat and into the cold Ah! refreshing

Cortney had been wanting a family photo so she talked me into it with a trip to the cabin no problem. I was happy to do that for a trip to the cabin what a great time we had spending the day with them. Down to the lake and walking around the forest for a family photo we decided to add grandma and grandpa in with a shot taken on timer sitting. We finally got a photo in spite of the wind and cold and a few tears from Gavin. Cortney was thrilled Justin was thrilled to be done with it, and the kids were able to get back to playing instesd of posing for the boring family photo. You can view the results on the Pierce Post blog and I may even post a few more of the kids. Great day, great fun, great food and a little fun work on my part as you all know I love taking photos.
I rode between Jake and Kailey on the way up and back watching Star Wars, Marley and Me and playing games on my Itouch.
They were wiggle worms all the way up and back, we laughed most of the way. I love being with them they make me feel younger and are so full of life. Oh yes Chico was with us between my lap Kailey's lap then Jake's he was worn out when we got home along with me. Grandpa sit by Gavin and slept most of the way home. He had fun shooting guns with Justin and Jake while at the cabin.

  1. Okay, so cute! Love the explaination of family pic taking! It does usually involve tears and some level of boredom when trying to pose with small kids with lots of energy! So glad you all had such a good time! Miss and love you all!
